In the course of his studies in architecture, at the School of Architecture in Grenoble, the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, Aberdeen, and finally at the School of Architecture in Toulouse, Arnaud developed a strong enthusiasm for sustainable development, drawing inspiration from adaptive reuse and transformation architecture.
Arnaud’s career commenced with the Edinburgh-based architectural practice Simpson & Brown, where he was able to deepen both his interest and his skillset in environmental architecture. This experience also allowed him to refine his understanding of architectural heritage and grow into a conservation architect. From that point on, these two fields became inseparable in his mindset and practice.
In Malta, working as a contractor in the field of architectural conservation, Arnaud further honed his ability to apprehend and manage the technical and logistical dimensions of construction with ReCoop. As an architect, he acquainted himself with the local statutory requirements and pursued his interest in conservation working with ARCstudio. He joined the team at JLZ+MBF to contribute to the growing urgent requirement of the sustainable transition.
